Ethical food is a broad term used to help people identify food that comes from sustainable sources or is produced in ways that promote the welfare of animals and the environment. The three most common forms of ethical food are:
Other forms of labelling include Free Range which aims to improve the welfare of animals that produce our food and the Marine Conservation Society's FishOnline website showing which types of fish come from sustainable stocks and are caught or farmed in environmentally responsible ways.
