Playing football or soccer is probably one of the most popular and versatile sports on the planet.  All you need is a ball, or something similar to just practice your skills, add opponents and team mates and you have a game.

Football can be played by pretty much everyone and pretty much everywhere. By superstars, fans and followers of the 'beautiful game' the world over, in glittering stadiums to wherever there's enough space to have a kick around.

From back gardens, parks and jumpers for goal posts, to local leagues, competitions and the FA Cup everyone can get a bit of exercise by playing football.
