Indoor skydiving, or 'body flying', offers a realistic simulation of skydiving in the safety of a vertical wind tunnel. As you are suspended in air blasted from a gigantic fan, you will experience the thrill of free fall even though you're just a couple of feet off the ground. Fun and exciting, indoor skydiving is accessible to all ages and abilities and no experience is required. All you need to do beforehand is practice the beginners pose and some hand signals. You will then be kitted out with a helmet, goggles and ear- plugs. Not only is it excellent training for the real thing, but enthusiasts claim that indoor skydiving is a sport in its own right. As a fitness exercise, it is great for muscle tone and doesn’t place too much stress on the joints.
